SCHOOLS AND CENTRES

Through Watkin Davies, Water Skills Academy is now able to offer all UK domiciled surf-schools, activity centres and sole traders insurance cover for the following activities  – Surfing, Stand Up Paddleboarding, Stand Up Paddleboarding Yoga, Wing Foiling, Sit-On-Top Kayaking, Canoeing, Packrafting, Lifeguarding, Outrigger, Open Water Swimming & Safety Courses and Windsurfing.

WSA is particularly pleased and proud of the fact that we’ve found a ‘water-sports activities friendly’ insurance broker and A+ rated insurer backing, both of whom fully understand the industry and are prepared to offer competitive insurance cover accordingly. This competitive insurance cover from Watkin Davies is only available to those who are, or become, WSA Accredited Schools or Centres.

Included in our insurance package from Watkin Davies, is cover for the activities listed above. If you are offering other activities such as aqua park sessions, it may be possible to extend cover.

As Club or Provider Member, you can access Pharos Response's 24/7 incident support for 50% discount with annual fees from just £500+VAT/year. This provides peace of mind that specialist, experienced support will be available immediately 24/7 if you ever have a serious incident.

Professional COACHING

Individual coaching membership, providing member benefits listed below, is available to anyone who holds WSA qualifications or wishes to transfer their qualifications across to WSA. This is available for those who wish to coach on a sub-contractor basis and is available through our annual WSA professional membership package priced at £66 per person, with the insurance being recognised worldwide (excluding USA/Canada).

• Public Liability to £10 million

• Professional Indemnity to £10 million

• Personal Accident (accidental bodily injury or illness) cover up to £5,000

• Work at home, at a client’s home, or at any owned, rented or hired premises anywhere in the world other than the USA & Canada

• Damage to third party premises

• Trespass

• Canals and river trust licence for 1 year
